Bloody core shift. You just can't trust pattern makers and foundries can ya! Lol, I shouldn't say much since I am a patternmaker by trade and still work in a foundry
: The only block I've ever made a pattern for was a 4 pot aluminium Ford based speedway motor, not too much of an issue with core shift, it's all sleeved anyway
