Hey SgtBourne, just took delivery of our 09 xr5 on tuesday, all i have to say is test drive one and you will be VERY impressed.
Brakes are very good standard compared to a ba/f.
ours is stock out the box and it handles very well, i have thrown it into corners and you dont move in your seat much , it is a very immpresive car.
There are few little bits and pieces but nothing major.
Test drive one and you will be bitten by the 5.
