I put premos on my late AUII from a T3. They came with brackets and I needed to use them.
I'm a little rusty but IIRC AUI and early AUII had specific uprights for cars equipped with the Premo brake package. That's also why they had the calipers mounted on the trailing side of the rotor as opposed to the lead side on the late AUII and AUIII.
So I dare say you'll need the brackets and unfortunately they are impossible to get a hold of unless you get really lucky. Fabricating them, as someone else got quoted for here once, is also rather spendy.
