I agree with nearly all of the above points.
If you like refinement, it will have particular appeal. To get comparable refinement in something else, you have to be prepared to spend much more.
Manual gearbox a delight - something not guaranteed with many others.
Economy is outstanding, and specially when considering its performance and substantial weight / solid build.
As mentioned above, perhaps give some thought as to whether it's worth spending more and joining the waiting list for an XR5.
What really sells the car is the way it drives. A test drive is a must.
