Holden died when the final Commodore rolled off the Elizabeth production line, this is nothing more than tying up the loose ends of the dealerships and unnecessary local engineering.
Anything sold in Australia under the Holden brand recently has had the same emotional attachment to the diehards as any other import of any other brand.
Holden was only ever a clever marketing strategy by GM to sell inferior product to brainwashed Aussies and they swallowed it hook, line and sinker for decades.
