Hey fellow campers, been a bit quiet in here of late so I thought I'd give ya's a shout out to see who's out and about.
I'm currently kicking back in the Mannum caravan park on the banks of the might Murray for the night. It's only a 1 nighter but it comes with an awesome back story.
8 months ago a friend of mine mentioned how he'd like to solo kayak the entire length of the Murray and I gotta be honest, at 87 I thought he was crazy but figured he'd have a crack and realise what a mammoth journey it is and pull the pin early on in the piece, well, he called us up last week and asked if we'd be interested in meeting him in Mannum at the end of his 79th day so here we are and in all honesty I wouldn't want to be anywhere else in the world, just simply inspirational stuff.
Not a bad park either.
