Sorry, don't get the transmission serviced just to see if the fuel consumption will lower, it won't.



I only meant that if you had it serviced recently, it may have been over filled and that will sap power which you'll compensate with a heavier foot and give a slight rough idle feel to it, then the fuel consumption will rise to ~10L/100kms minimum. I know this first hand.



I'd have the Sparkplugs replaced, regardless if they're iridium, it's cheaper than coils at this stage.



Then coils scoped, to see if any misfire is occurring, and if that's the related to the rough idle and fuel consumption.
