The manager at our sister shop says that each Tesla repair starts at about $30,000, supposedly because you cant repair them with traditional methods and the car has to be stripped down to replace the bonded aluminium panels, as they cant repair aluminium panel only replace.

Thanks for the info on Tesla repairs, I can see this adding significantly to insurance policies
but the most infuriating part is that they will increase everyone else’s premiums to cover these vehicles.
I’ve heard that in a side crash, if the battery case is dented or battery compromised, they write them off in the US as the cost of replacing a structural is horrendous…
