I feel - without subjective proof - that the reality of life for people in some of these repeatedly flooded areas, is no longer resonating with a growing army of chiefs and spokespersons. Yesterday I only just made it out, I was very lucky. We all thought it might go under Monday arvo. When I went over on Saturday at lunch it was really low, hadn't even started coming up yet. Crazy how quickly it went under.
