I believe there's no actual requirement in the ADRs that says you
must have a windscreen (unless of course the car originally had one)...especially with individually constructed cars like hot rods and specials. I know several guys with old cars like MG Midget specials and Austin 7 specials that don't even have a windscreen or wipers...or at most a small flyscreen in front of the driver, and they are fully road registered.
