Running an addional pulley which bolts to the crank would be more of a concern to me as it then puts the stress further from the first bearing, increasing the leverage on the crank. I don't think anyone has put as many k's or 1/4 mile runs on their kit as Chris & Paul have on their OWN cars during testing.
