Not correct.
They removed $1,990 from his backside and he responded:
"I wasn't feeling too grand".
I worked in a bank in the early 1980s and had to deal with a lady who wanted to exchange $600 that had been in her husband's wallet when he died.
The only problem was it took them six weeks to find him.
She sealed it in a bag, signed a Stat Dec confirming the amount there and sent it off to the Reserve Bank.
She got a cheque from them about six weeks later.
I still want to recycle my dinner at the memory of the smell.
