What were the facilities like Rob, looks fairly basic from the pics.
Did you do any sight seeing around the Mt Remarkable/Mambray creek area at all.
You're right though, the Flinders is a mid year school holiday destination when the creeks are flowing and the flies dormant.
Im currently at Barmera for a few days, been a really stressful week so i thought i'd get away for a few nights with a bit of Luxury, 3 nights in the Lakes resort with lake views is doing the trick.
Just wish i'd dragged the Kayak or boat up with me, weather is perfect, 27* with light breeze and 32* forecast tomorrow.
