Hey boys and girls... Finally i have built up some money in my account so now i can purchase that chip ive been waiting for 2 years for. My question is to those people who have already got a chiptorque chip. If i ask for an "off the shelf" chip, will this fix my idle problems with my wade cam or will i need to get it tuned on a dyno? Also... are these chips really worth $600 or am i better off spending $$$ on other bits like diff and porting?

you have the wade 1004-110 in there? The off the shelf HP4 that was used in stockstandards car made a HUGE diffrence. I have the same cam as him but stock computer and my car is a pig, absolute pig. No idle, cant have it in drive at idle, uses 20L/100 no lowend/midrange. Stockstandards car idles beautifuly and has great power everywhere and uses 8L/100 less than my car.
In two words. Get one.

i am running the HP4 chip in mine, ran much better when tuned as they are a programable/tuneable chip HP1 is plug and play and you cannot alter it.
