Hi
I have had problems with the steering joint coming away from the rack, due to the couple pressing against the janspeed 4 branch manifold. Found out engine mounts were on wrong side so I swapped them round, ( smallest drivers side) fitted another column and also new quick rack and h/d joint. The column still catches on the manifold anyone got any ideas |

just a really dumb question but it does make a difference - are you sure the exhaust manifold is for an escort & not Cortina?
they can be different... |

Hi
Thanks for response, I bought the manifold from a private seller on eBay, who said it was purchased 20 years ago for an RS2000, so I hope it was genuine. |
