hey guys i wanna put an au 6 into an tc-td or te-tf will start with 6 cylinder body.
basically how hard is this also car will be straight gas as i wanna go turbo down the track auto will be a c6 also what is the best diff to go and how much tyre on a 15 inch rim will fit front and back |

on the tyre issue depending on wat offset u run u wont be able to get much more than a 225 on there without some sort of tubbing

Forgot to mention before that the cortina diff is failry solid however a nine in ch will obviously be ur best bet if its gonna be putting out some decent power. im not sure about the TC/D/F. but if u go with a TE and decided to retain the original diff ur gonna need to reinforce the area where the upper trailing arms bolt onto the chassis, these r a weak spot and have a habit of tearing off. I had a 2L in my first corty and managed to rip it off with some spirited driving, so it wont be hard for u to do it with a turbo 6.

dont go nine inch ridiculous over kill really isnt necessary massivly over priced and robs alot of power plus the extra weight. go with a 28 spline centre from an e series or a vl turbo i think have to check that out. also hardest part for au 6 is the alloy sump very difficult to modify theres more stuff cant think of it right now though.

Corty diff is a weak pos with any power through it lol. go 28 spline e series centre and a set of billet axles. Best move mate. 9'' is overkill imho.
