Thumbs up And the winner is...

Well today was small Ford Sunday, and I think that the representatives from FordForums.com.au really deserve some congratulations.

Out of the three regulars that had their cars in as show cars, two of them won awards.

Congratulations to zetec and OZST24 on your awards guys! :1syellow1

One happy Zetec with his award for best Ford Focus.

One happy OZST24 with his award for best Ford Mondeo.

The people that turned up (that we know of) from left to right:
The Maddestman, LuvinmyEB,ozmondeo, Zetec, OZST24 and vista75.

I think it would be safe to say that a great day was had by all, especially in the Focus rally simulator. LOL! :

Now to find some Aloe vera gel and try and soothe this sunburn. :

Indeed, congratulations are in order for winning the awards, hope it made getting up so early in the morning on a Sunday (well, everyone but Matt that is, lol) worth it.

One car that particularly impressed me was this incredible Mk1 Escort:

How neat is that engine bay? Looks like the EFI and Turbo were factory fitted, doesn't it?

Turbo EFI 2L Pinto, mmm *drools*

Oh, and everyone around here MIGHT be seeing a lot more of this car soon:
Any questions, ask LuvinmyEB.

Once again, congratulations guys on winning the awards, I'm guessing your all coming back next year?

No it wont be a replacement, it would be a run around/project car IF I buy it. I've got to have a good hard think about it though, I may go over and have another look at it and go over it with a fine tooth comb so to speak. Nothing is definite yet. Just very interested. :voldar02:

Some nice cars there today. Only problem I did'nt slip slop slap and paying for it now with a burnt neck & face. Noticed a rare Sth African Perana V8 capri there today & a V6 commy mtr fitted to a MK1 Cortina and the Capri that a engineer from Ford is fitting a V6 explorer mtr to like to see the finished product. Also a good turn out of Escorts as usual. But what has happened to the Escort Panel vans only 2 1 customised & the other standed. Where are the Sundowners have not seen any since I sold mine years ago.

Out of about 120 pics that we took today must be the only cars we didn't take a pics of. LOL!
That same panelvan wins every year too, as does the green Low MkI Escort.
I haven't seen a Sundowner in years now either come to think of it.

Great show of Escorts though, I hate to think of the amount of hours that's gone in to restoring some of them.

Neither the Maddestman or I used sunblock either, I was wearing a cap. it didn't help with the face and neck though. The Maddestman is glowing in the dark. haha :nutsycuck
We'll be paying for that tomorrow.

I thought it was great though that out of 3 FF.au people that entered their cars two of them won prizes.

You could always scroll down to EuroFordclub.com :nutsycuck

Zetec's Ford Focus

OZST24's Ford Mondeo

Sorry not the best pics but the only ones where I didn't have to fiddle around with the number plates at this time in the morning.

I'm sure there will be more in the EuroFord part of the forum if you want to go and check them out there. ;)

No pic of the Sth African Perana V8. Did anyone see the sticker on the back window of the red Corsia. Arthur Daley motors London with U.K flag. I took a pic of it.

No, trust me you are NOT the only one in pain and I can't find the aloe vera gel, so The Maddestman and l are using coconut butter, it's supposed to help. :yeees:

Oops, I knew there was something I was going to do before I was rudely interrupted before, put some pics up, I'll go and do it now. :
