Hey all,
Its been a while since ive been on here, I last spoke a few months ago bout my EA fairmont, its doing good. But lately ive been looking for a EF/EL xr6. A family member has just bought one, he offered it to me. It has no mechanical problems at all, its not a stock XR6, ive driven one b4 and this thing has at least 2 times the power of a stock XR6, it rides sweet, and has a nice sounding sports exhaust. All that i wanted in a car to do up, its issues are its paint, it has slight pannel dammage, and one window motor is dead, other then that its very good, it seems to have been a project that only had the mechanics done, but was unfinished. ok its going for $3500, just wondering if this is a good price? I feel it is i like this car lots, and looks arent the major thing for me, well its something i can fix anyway.

yeah this thing drives like the clappers, sounds a treat, and for a low XR rides really smooth, im all for it. like i said its just that the pant is a lil sun damaged. They are my inlaws, in they moved up from sydney a few years ago to queensland, and my uncle in law goes down every couple of weeks, and he quite often comes back up with fords, thats how i got my EA, and this one, he normally gives family the option, then himself, oddly enough. He will drive it for a bit get it running good then sell it for bout the same price as he paid.

have it checked over (RACQ check or stolen vehicles check or finance owing check, whatever you guys have up there) and then buy it! $3500 is a steal!
