Guys,
Just changed the IRS rear tie rod ends, took it for a test drive and the rear end is swaying, it all went together OK. What have I done wrong? Cheers |

Its got to have a wheel alignment now.
The other thing that can cause the swaying is a stuffed rear wheel bearing. Jack it up and check if you can wobble the wheel

Fellas,
Rear wheel alignment done yesterday, problem fixed cost $77.00. Rear link pins and toe rods done. More bushes to be done in the future, maybe able to do these without removing the IRS. Needs to be up on the hoist for a thorough inspection, very difficult on the garage floor. Cheers for the heads up everyone, very helpful. Last edited by Edxr6; 05-02-2019 at 08:49 PM. |

If wheel bearing is gone don't worry about the wheel alignment until thats sorted.
Plenty of threads covering rear wheel bearing woes in here. Search function is your friend
