Default tracing ownership

In South Oz is there a way to find owners details from rego number.
I have seen a car pop up on market place with no information or time dates, nothing just Pt Lincoln and 6 photos.

Send them a message (or ring) and ask. Don't think you can find an owners info unless you're the police doing a P and C.

I would be hyper vigilant if looking at private sales at the moment because people wont think twice about attempting to flog off an encumbered car to free up cash in the current economic climate.
I am well aware of the ability to perform PPSR checks online at a cost and have done so myself in the past but i still think now is a good time to pay a licensed dealer their premium to ensure what you get is legit.

Can you provide the link? Is not the scammers stealing images off the web for phishing is it?
Click on the sellers profile and see what else they have for sale. Often the scammers have the same add, same pics listed in multiple locations across Australia, their own location may be listed as overseas. Fake profile, fake ad.

Edit-I just looked at vehicles on market place in pt Lincoln, at least half of them are fake profiles with scam listings! BE CAREFUL FB marketplace is pharrked!
