if your ea one is stuffed, pull it out, lay it on top of the EL there will be the answer in all of 2 seconds.

The perfect answer ;)

Is your lining only sagging? If so, no need to replace, simply take off the plastics which pinch around the edges of the lining, pull the lining all the way off to the sunvisors, and use some "Glue-in-a-can" stuff (sorry, don't know the name of the stuff).

It's like a spray-on glue in an aerosol can. Spray a small amount evenly on the roof, then rub the roof lining back onto it. It should stick to the roof now ;) Take care in not getting any creases/crinkles in the roof, so rub it in thoroughly.

Also, use either breathing apparatus or do it with all the windows down! That stuff is nasssssty!

Contact Adhesive eh...

Oh, yeah, don't spray it on the whole roof at once! Do like 20cm stages at a time working from the front to the rear of the car ;)

Doing the whole roof at once would result in:

* 90% of the adhesive drying before lining is applied
* Death by chroming

sorry I'm going to have to contradict you here, the best way to do it is to pull the hoodlining out to work on it, peel the hoodlining back half way then spray the contact to both surfaces and allow to tack off for a couple of minutes and then slowly reapply the lining to the backing working all the wrinkles out as you go, and if need be repeat to the other half of the lining.

Looks mad :evilsasmo

As for the contradiction, it's all good! Since you say your method works, it'd be much easier than doing little bits at a time like what me & my mates did with his EA. :voldar02:

I have an EB Falcon series one and the hoodlining in the little beast has begun to balloon as well. In my spare room is a BRAND NEW EF sedan hoodlining and it WILL fit in the white knight.

There are a LOAD of goodies that DO fit from EF, EL, and, AU.

Black absorbs light, but it's not an insulator as your suggesting. A black rooflining will not make the car any hotter...
