Hey guys after driving around on the weekend thought i would check my levels and i have like a bit of oil on the front of the engine. Only thing is that my oil level was still the same as it was before i left. Whats going on here?

Na probably not when is the best time to check the oil though? I know when your checking the tranny it needs to be hot. Normally just check it when the car is on my front lawn and its pretty flat.

Check you oil on level ground when the engine is cold (preferably). If its hot, wait a good 10-15mins for the oil to run down into the pan. Pull out the dipstick, wipe it, re-insert it, then take it out for an accurate reading.
