Default ea to ef

I asked it before the ef interior into ea not going to worry about the dash. I know all the the door trims and back seats go straight in but the front seats would i be able to weld mounts from the ED seats and the rails from the EL seats together would the work and are there any tutorials anywhere.

any help

matt

from EF>EA all u need to do is have about a 3 inch raising pipe, eg a pipe that goes inbetween the floor and the seat with the bolt going thru the middle, if u put the seat in and have a look it is easy.

yeah the pipe is the dodgy way.
id get the back brackets cut off your old seats and welded onto the EF seat bases. would be the best way

i got a question since we're on the topic of seats.

Are the sports seats you can get from autobarn and places like that lighter than stock ones and by how much if they are.

yeah they are lighter youll find they would be close to half the weight depending on brand, but i wouldnt bother unless there legal, i know VELO make legal race seats. cant remember what the requirements they had to meet.

So getting sports seats would be a pretty good way of reducing weight.
