not sure if that counts as harrassment.....although you may have been putting it politely. But i do notice commo drivers do have a need to comment on any work/changes done to fords, and generally negative comments

I've had a lot of problems driving the work car (Daihatsu Charade) and my parents old car 1984 Honda Civic Shuttle.

If I overtake someone in either of those cars, 1 time out of 5 they'll come barreling past me very quickly.

I've never had any trouble in my VS or EF though.

I was out driving one night in the EB. I was told by a guy in the backseat of a VN SS 215kw special edition thingy that he could fart faster than my POS.

A few seconds later they wanted to look under the bonnet My mate in his commo knew the guy and how ИИИИy he was with his new VN. It was a crack up knowing he would run me thinking he was gonna win :P

when there has been a club cruise (xr's) you always get stupid people yelling out stuff..
I think the classic was 'buy a real car - get a commodore' (I would have thought it should have been 'a holden' - but hey, either is still funny)......they were in a real beaten up toyota too :
the other weekend there were some guys yelling out something but seriously no idea what, I had the windows up and air cond blasting :

I used to get lots of positive comments about the EA from Commo drivers. I went on a few CCC cruises and lots of them liked it. Not all Commo drivers are dicks.

I have a mate witha 250rwkw+ VL turbo and he loved my car for some reason when i first got it apparently because it was manual _

Never had any problems with commo drivers giving me sh*t though, even had a guy in a nice looking Integra Type-R offer to buy my car at the servo once.

Dansedgli, i love those sleeper stories where arrogant d*ckheads get beaten by a sleeper.

Obviously I dont get as many as you would have in your EA :p but i still get occasional positive comments from commodore drivers (never negative). Same as what John said though, they expect it to go "alright" but it's slower than a stocko Jeep Wrangler...

What year of Jeep? All the new one's I've driven go like sh1t off a shovel. They had a lot of gearbox problems in them cause they used to have VN'esque take-off so I wouldn't feel bad about being beaten by one!

And Obriza - But VL turbo drivers a siiiiccckkkk :hihi:

nah never have really. I got a thumbs up and a toot from 2 dudes in a VN SS once after i beat them in my EA, it was kinda sad as i was thinking to myself that VN must have been soo out of tune or something.

I got a comment from mum tonight after the EB died about 4 k up the road, "atleast you got it home again". Damn VS drivers. :P

I used to get a bit of attention in my old car (R31) but i put that down to a lot of drivers not really knowing what to expect, it was 2 tone blue over grey, lowered with 17's, sfa done to the engine though.

This car, still looks grandpa spec, so i dont really get many looks, even when i've given it a really good clean. I did however get into a half assed 'Bass-off' today at the lights without even trying, i pulled up next to some boot rattling doof doof today with 'Beat it' pumping (Thriller....top album), he turned his down to hear what i was listening to and then pumped it harder, giving me that 'cop that' kind of look. I just laughed and drove off. I'd say that's the most attention i've ever got.

EDIT: also i get cheeky looks and stuff but as soon as they see me with micksta in his commo they dont seem to care anymore coz im with a holden, its like a religion to them

most of my mates are commie drivers and they always give me the s#!t saying how easier it is to do stuff on commies like rear springs (they all have the need to cut their rear springs more and more week by week) and when i had my auto eb they all said how slow it is get a commie, so i brought the 5 speed eb and now they are all doing more and more stuff to their cars to beat me. i just tell the to get use to my taillights.

in my local shopping centre whilst enjoying the fruits that mcdonalds had provided me, a VN SS driver/ passenger decided to stop dead in front of my car, blocking me against the car park bollard, hanging out his window saying " yeah those are real nice wheels, we should jack the c*** ". he then did 1 more lap around myself and my freinds car, stopped behind us and said " yeah those'd look nice on my car, let's take em, this c*** is a f***** p***** " .. this guy was rather large, and im not talking about his waist! So i kept my cool, and when they slowly moved off again, i high tailed it outa there, not like really fast, but casually like i was leaving, as it was not something i wanted to stick around and argue over. I dont care that I ran away sometimes you gota know your limits, and this guy was beyond mine..

Most commy drivers just want to see a ford do burnouts.. !! just cos its all they do!! i apologize, some of them. But it does always seem that ****ers drive Holdens. And i think we can all say that its not a biast opinion.

i've never received any harrassing but i actively harass commo drivers, does that count? guy pulled up next to me in a VLT and he had a miners light on his head switched on. i looked as and as soon as he made eye contact i just said 'what the fvck mate? trying to see who beat you better?' he looked away and slinked off.

Tend to use significant amounts of fuel when pushed for spirited traffic light take offs. I have found that most contenders prefer not to stop at the speed limit & that's when they go flying past & "WIN" (naughty people)
I know my cars limits & how much fuel money I have for the week so there's plenty of times I've taken off at snails pace but sometimes you know if you don't give it a squirt you will be the subject of someones "i thrashed this ford V8" story. (can't let that happen)
