I thought wogs left carby V8's and pushrods in the 80's, so they could buy 'emselves injected turbos.

Come on Phil, I know exactly what it's like to drive a stock late Clevo. Slow and painful. They really should of dropped it a lot earlier so it went with dignity.
The early ones, hell yes. Worked ones? HELL YES! Now why am I driving a Wheezer again? |

Ive had both. The 351 was quick and would light up the tyres way easier than the EB from a standstill with no brake but the EB was faster, better in traffic, better on fuel, quieter but not better sounding, less of a cop magnet, comfortable, was easier to drive, had a much better turning circle etc etc.
E series turbo for the win :P Theres nothing like having power AND decent fuel economy. Although at the end of my 6's life it was using about the same amount of fuel.

rob, oh yes, late ones suck. unless they are modded of course.
*monty smiles and thinks of the modified XC GXL in the shed* Dan, if the ED was faster, you clearly werent spending enough on the clevo *monty smiles and thinks of the XB coupe in the other shed, and the stroker crank in the bedroom* better in traffic? sif that even matters... lol economy, again, sif that matters.... quieter? gimme a lumpy clevo any day... cop magnet? if you do it right, theres not alot they can get you on.... comfortable? mmmm '70's armchair-style front seats... john, get a windsor? *monty thinks of the 5.0 EF Fmont Ghia in the driveway and doesn't smile* again, gimme a lumpy clevo anyday. |

I got the modified DC 5.0 and the stock ZC 351
DC is better on fuel, goes (a lot) faster, handles better, steering is more precise, has better brakes, has a better stereo, has better seats etc etc etc. Id still rather drive the ZC. till you've got one you cant explain it. |
