Would be almost impossible to do that to an EL Futurama.......they don't have a bezel (insert behind the lens) like the EF.:

There's a guy on eBay that sells tinted head lamps. Not sure if he does EF/EL ones. I bought EA-ED ones from him, lets just say the tint looked good, just not driving at night.

all thats been done is parts of the lens have been sprayed black, and the floor of the indicator has been sprayed too

altho its an improvment, i dont like them to much EA-D ones look 100 times better im my own opinion

I would love a set of these. But he's asking $350 for a pair with indicators (plus postage). What concerns me is that they are reconditioned items. Would hate to get a pair that had slightly faded lenses or something.

Has anyone actually taken the plunge and bought a set of these? What were they like? Are they easy to self install - I thought it was a bit of a ***** to take the old ones out and put replacements in yourself.

If they are non gen (they look it) thats @300% mark up. Waste of money IMHO. Better off with genuine Ford rather than risking those nasties.
