took out the restrictor and replaced it with a 3" to 3" intake adaptor from TFI Racing (autobarn $13). actually does feel a lil more responsive and now ive got that pod filter inake sound w/o the negatives!

the nozzle i removed? no and i dont see how particularly with the volume of the thing (cant remember the number. plus i have another intake mod in the process (not not the bigger snorkel) which will perform better (more flow) with this setup.
elaborate if u wish...

I heard the nozzle thing was just there to stop excess induction noise...
Hopefull it will give u more noise

it does act as a silencer yeah... it does give induction noise now, espeacially on shut down more than anything coz its in the box
