Default The Invisible Ford (NOT DIALUP FRIENDLY)

Well, after spending quite a lot of time with a bunch of the Victorian Eseries guys I've had a lot of comments about my Sprint being invisible.

"I've never seen it on a cruise before!"

"I've never seen it EVER"

"I haven't even seen any pictures!!"

Since I plan on keeping it stock and I have no intentions of building it up, I didn't think it was fair for me to make a thread in the WorkShop Builds section; so I'll make a general thread in here just to show that... MY CAR DOES EXIST!!

Here are some piccies!

This is the car the day I took it for a testdrive

Taken only days after I first bought the car

Within weeks there was an eseries dragday on at heathcote, with some help from the SA boys we cleaned her up ready

The trip to heathcote was the longest trip the car had been on since I'd bought it, having only had it a matter of weeks it was taken fairly easy. It ran 15.42 on the day, I would love to take it back again on a day where it isn't 30 degrees as I definitely think this has more in it.

2 months later we took the car over to Tassie, where we covered a couple of thousand k's. The only problem we had was its ride height, it was catching on stupid things, rocks, etc.

The car was wetspot-ified - the first Eseries!

This photo was taken on a Geelong Meet, Johnny Z you can see your car AND my car in this picture!

Xmas BBQ last year

Proof that I have been behind the wheel (on private property, of course!)

The car is still in my driveway, there are a few Geelong E-Series members that see it on a regular basis. She is off the road at the moment due to me not haivng the money to put everything back together, I absolutely would LOVE to drive her again; but at the moment my energies are based at keeping it in my driveway!

While it's been off the road though, I have had some minor scratches and imperfections fixed up (exterior) aswell as the engine bay being resprayed. My aim is to have it together, cleaned up and immaculite for All Ford Day 2008.

They're sexy stickers! Definitely get your car a lot of attention too, heh.

I was very happy doing that burnout! That was for my 19th Birthday, a mate (EL Ghia) lent me his stockies for the weekend, was an awesome night!

The pic is of a blue fairmont Ghia, not a green XR8 Sprint!

Unlike this beauty!

I was thinking that too, then I realised he's just copied and pasted what I said to John XR6 and didn't quote it - very confusing!!

Anyway, it's a sensational looking car Krys! From the pictures it looks mint, so why did you take it off the road in the first place?

aww you know i love this car Kyrs, it sounds tough, looks tough and has some serious road presence. I know if you ever get it even half as good as you want it to be it'll be damn near perfect.

I cant wait to see it back on the road, with you behind the wheel cutting laps around town I'd call shot gun, but i know i wouldnt have a chance
