Default shockies/superlows/XR6

hey
getting superlows in about a week
adn i went to see rod smith auto supplies
and he said that i dont NEED all 4 new shockies, and that 2 of the eb xr6 shockies will go good with superlows.
is this true?
and which two dont i need new ones of.. front or rear?

been heaps of talk about this!

they will work but will wear out at a quicker rate than if you got shortened ones, you can use yours but will prob have to change them relatively quickly so paying twice as much labour

if the suspension is tight -push down on all of the corners and if it bounces firmly and preferably only back up and not continue bouncing then why not use your existing shockers?
