Default Solution to intermediate shaft steering play?

Loooong time since I've posted, but been magic seeing the builds and community continuing.

Has anyone come across a solution yet to the intermediate shaft steering play issue, aside from sourcing a second-hand one?

I know you can't buy them new anymore, but wondering given it's a reasonably common issue if there is a company or someone who has started rebuilding or reconditioning them, if that's possible.

Only option I've found (aside from wreckers/second-hand), is the uni-joints sold by Castlemaine Rod Shop below. Has anyone tried these?

Longer we go on, the harder it seems to find new parts for our AUs, like clocksprings, front undertray etc.

There are several threads on here about the CRS ones and they all seem to be positive about them.

Thanks for responses.

Re the CRS threads - apologies Russ, will dig a bit deeper re searching - good to know though and will look up.

And NCII40, thanks also - I actually stocked up when I did a clockspring last year. When I sourced one from the wreckers I picked up a couple.
