Default eb falcon keyless entry

hey guys. not sure if this is the right place for the thread.
im looking at getting an eb falcon. i looked at a 93 model the other day and it had central locking with a remote for keyless entry but the 92 model i looked at today didnt seem to have the remote.
would anyone know if it should have a remote or not. i can only find info saying all eb's came with central locking but not about keyless entry.
i thought it could just be somone has lost the remote and i can just get a new one otherwise there must have been some that never had a remote?

thanks in advance.

Keyless entry came out on the EBII along with smartlock. Early EBIIs missed out. I think if it has keyless entry, it should also have the flashing smartlock light on the dash.

correct, any car with the flashing smartlock on the dash has keyless entry capability, you would just need to get a fob and program it to the car.

Can you somehow fit a sensor to be able to put keyless entry on earlier models ,eg my EB1?

thanks guys.
unfortunately i didnt get the car.
kinda annoying.
i went in saturday and found an eb for 2 grand in good cond with low k's but as my dad has the money and he was busy we decided to come back monday and have a look and most likely buy it. i got there as they opened but no the car was gone. he sold it saturday arvo.
but alas he said he had another coming down from melbourne on tuesday. so i come back on tuesday 5 mins before the car got there. at around 10.30. i had a look and a drive and once again my dad was paying so off i go home to call him. he was busy but around 4 oclock he said yeh just go make him an offer.
i get back there on the same day and bam car sold at lunch time.
2 perfect and cheap cars sold just before i wanted to buy them.

well if your dad trusts you in finding the car, then pay a deposit and do the contract etc, then front with the money later, its the only way to get the car.

Great. Can I use one of the normal Ford remotes that are selling on ebay as I know someone with a spare?
What would an alarm set me back?
