Default Price check isle 69

Yo yo whazzup peeps,

1 Simple question,

1994 FORD FALCON EF Futura Auto Dual Fuel (Complex BRC converter, simple mixer)
Price $5,900
Kilometres 175,000
Mint cond. Mech no probs.
16" rims

I personally think an EF should resell $3000-$4500. Even though this particular one has low Kms the price to me seems excessive.

What do u reckon?

Haha, nice.

On topic though, it seems a bit steep, but have a look at it first, it might actually be mint and worth every penny. Although I doubt it. But yes, for an EF Futura, $5000 is as highs as I would want to be paying.

FRDXR6 thats a bit harsh since ONLY the greeting was the "home boy" talk........... the rest of it was fine!

Anyway on TOPIC, What State is it in?

Vic, Sa, Act, Nsw, Qld, NT, WA, Tas?

$5,900 means $5,000 as no one pays the advertised price.

Over a Standard EF this one has Dual Fuel and 16" FTR's.....

It may seem high for the current market value but if its in Mint Condition and with the Low Klms, its better than buying an average one for $4,000 then having to spend $2,000 on it.

I bought a 94 EF futura wagon with the same k's with tow pack (including air bag suspension and brake controller), third row seats. It was in good condition body wise and mint mechanicals. I paid $4000 with six months rego and aircon regas.

That same car now is probably only worth $3000. This is in QLD.

Hope that helps a bit.

cheers
Scott

If you have any photo's of it post them up...........

How Much Reg left on it?
How Much Tread Left on the Tyres?
Is the Windscreen Perfect?
Does to come with a RWC?

If you take it for a test drive give it some stick to check if the Auto changes smoothly or clunks.

Main issues with EF's are the Auto and the Head Gasket.....

Also look at the bottom of all sills and make sure they are not dented, well I would look for dents so you can offer less....

Thanks, i know what to look for as i have a EL with a Dev 5 kit ATM. Just shopping around for fine lady at home for a reasonable family car, the price seemed a bit high and this has been confirmed, that's all i was after. Good advice tho, appreciated.

It all looks good, comes with RWC. auto is fine. Just have to get a compression test done if i can get it down under 5g's.
