My alternator is not charging the battery properly.
I have a brand new 6cyl alternator ( e-bay bargain I couldn't resist )which I have been told has the same internals as the V8 one, the only difference being the housing. I bought a 2nd hand V8 alternator and was just going to swap the internals over. 1st step remove pulley. How do you remove the pulley? It just spins. I don't want to put it in a vice as it will damage the pulley. Has anyone attempted this before and if so was it successful |
