Hi all, It's time I need to service my engine and instead of paying $500 to get the 1st year apprentice at ford to do it I thought I'd like to learn more about what's what in my new car. So I've decided to do all the fluids and everything I can do by myself. So here come the questions.
What can and should I change in my car, It's done 75000 K's and so far I'm thinking I'll change oil/air filter, Oil, brake fluid, clutch fluid, diff fluid and I think thats all I know. I have a freind who's agreed to do all the technical stuff like timing ect. So is there anything else I can check or change by myself and what brand would you buys recomend for the fluids and all that. Is it worth getting a K&N filter? Sorry for that overload of Questions but I'm still trying to learn about cars. |
