I have just got back from putting my youngest on a bus to the big smoke.
Had an interesting chat with the bus driver once he got off the bus to put the baggage aboard. He admired 'The Sprint' and told me he had owned one before but only got three drives as it was written off whilst parked. He then claimed there were 500 Sprints and that they were imported all over the world. I did mention that the figure he gave me was a tad inflated but bit my tongue from stating anything further( He was, after all, driving the bus with my son on it) He then proceeded to tell me that all 500 of them came out with a 'split tyre' a bit like two bike tyres joined together on 'that same rim you have there' ........ : Made me wonder how many others have been told absolute rot about their cars or cars that they know are rarer than most & have a definate traceable history such as the Sprint or say a GT ?????????? |
