I've tried searching for the answer to this odd question but nothing matched it quite right.....
When I let my clutch out a sound like a wire against a spring can be heard - sort of a 'sproing' sound like an old chest freezer spring (sorry, not good at impressions!). Going in the clutch doesn't make this sound, only on the outstroke. Have checked the spring at the top of the pedal, and there is nothing interfering with the spring, the cable is nice and new, and adjusted nicely. Anyone have any ideas what's making the noise?? A few sets of lights in town and the noise soon gets on your nerves!! |
