now its been dyno proven that my car would make much better top end with a better intake but at the moment i cant afford anything...
whilst my dad was at the wreckers picking up a fuel cap (i lost mine :togo: ) he picked up top top half of a BA airbox and all the intake piping the piping is quite obviously larger and less restrictive than the au piping, also shorter as well as there is one big curve compared to the sharp bends of the au iping the airbox opening is also 75mm i believe, or maybe it measured to be 80 i cant remember, either way roughly 3" its probably not gonna give me a huge gain but for now its free and its something to work on so im going to fit it anyway and if i stuff up i have a spare au airbox anyway! the boxes mount up different so i am going to have to fix that up somehow, i might need to do a bit of chopping and get dad to do a bit of welding has anyone else done this mod? i did a search and came across a thread but the pictures had long since expired and id love to see what others have done to make my job a bit easier thanks guys
