I posted this initially in the General Tech forum. I might get a response here.
I have an EB 4.0L head here, that I am trying to figure out what to do with. I am after reccomendations, firstly, for a good place that knows Falcon I6 heads, that can port, polish, etc - preferably with a flow bench. Also, what should I do with it? I'm thinking XR valves (if there is a size difference) and springs, port, polish. The engine will definately be staying N/A, turbo is out of the question, I will be rebuilding it soon with an ACL race series kit with flat top pistons, using an AU headgasket, etc - looking to get much higher compression. I will probably stick with the EF cam for a while, as aftermarket computer management is not really an option for some time, so I can't put too lumpy a cam in there - unless someone has a good combo reccomendation (billet, not regrind - i don't want to shim anything) If anyone can point me in the right direction, I'd appreciate it. |
