LS Focus - Removing the stereo?

One of these weekends, I will get around to modding the focus stereo. Well not really a mod, just re-routing the AUX IN out of the glovebox as it's a pain.

Has anyone seen a comprehensive guide online on how to remove the stock HU so I can get at the wiring? It's all very shiny and I don't really want to be hacking at it with a crowbar when there is undoubtedly a perfectly civilised and easy way of removing it
