Unhappy Cortina td and new laws qld?

Hey guys ok so after some more thinking, i was gonna stay with the pinto engine in my td cortina but im thinkin of going a 250 crossflow. First question is if anyone has or knows the "new law" ive been hearing that states that u cant do engine conversion if the car didnt come out with that engine from the factory?

Second Q 250 crossflow, 200 crossflow, 250 pre or 200 pre? Opinions?

Third q ------- i pulled a 4 sp. box out of a mk4 wagon for the pinto, by the looks of it everything is quite well very similar in the mk3s to 4s. Is it/ would it be easier/possible to pick one of those up in a 6 cylinder and transfer the driveline suspension brakes and everything and just bolt it up to my td mk3 cortina? Has anyone done a 250 crossflow conversion from a pinto td?

Lastly does anyone know anyone around sunny coast qld ish maybe brisbane maybe up north a bit who is selling a 250 crossflow cortina either mk3/4 that has a crap body and costs not too much? Thanks guys and i apologize for my bad/ rude grammar im about to fall asleep crap gotta brush my teeeeeth
Night and merry christmas and thanks in advance for your replies!!!!
