watching the local news at 6 tonight only to hear that the fine blokes at shepparton police are looking forward to impounding the cars of hoons as of the 1st of june or july (not sure which). now please, please correct me if im wrong but the new law actually states that it is at the officers descresion as to what is hooning. so our state govenment is saying that if you have p-plates and pull away from the lights quicker than the car in the other lane they will take my car for 48hrs(1st offence) 3 months(2nd offence) and permanently for a 3rd? i have two subs in my car and am driving past the local criuse spot. hooning? driving my car on a friday night on my p's. hooning?
we need something setup to get the cops off our backs as they "are looking forward to the new laws coming in..." a regular event (once a fortnight or so) in the major areas. ie shepparton, wangaratta, ballarat etc. not just for fords, for all car enthusiasts. how do i go about setting up a local event? help desperatly wanted and needed! |
