Default wat to do with faded side strip

I Have An Elxr6, Navy Blue With The Red Strips, But The Red Strips
Have Faded Badly And They Look Ugly I Hav Tried Everything To Fix
But I Think I Need New Ones,

Any Ideas If They Can Be Bought?
Where From?
How Much?

Or Has Anyone Got Any Ideas That They No Works...

have you considered getting all the red stripes colour coded, would look really good with navy blue.

I'm pretty sure AdzELXR had the same problem, and I think he painted his.

paint them navy blue, strips on the EL's look heaps better painted same colour as the body.

My drivers side ones were badly faded and I just went over them with some cut and polish and they came up beautifully. Can't underestimate a bit of elbow grease! I suggest u try the cut and polish before u go spending $$$ on new ones!

i re-sprayed mine, after a minor prep of course, did it on the car, theres enough gap behind them to fit a masking tape layer in , then just newspaper the most part of the side of the car and spray away.. i used Ford monza Red.

you could paint them silver mate.sounds strange heh. i seen a few heritage green ones painted silver and i think they look good,different

yer mate thanks for the advice... i used sum elbow grease today and they came up pretty good but i had to work like a dog.... my arm is dead lol....
but ill just wait and c how it holds up over the next few weeks

I didnt take them off, just masked up and painted, waaaaaayyyyyy easier, lol!!

WD40 it brings them back by oxidize the paint
