I Have An Elxr6, Navy Blue With The Red Strips, But The Red Strips
Have Faded Badly And They Look Ugly I Hav Tried Everything To Fix But I Think I Need New Ones, Any Ideas If They Can Be Bought? Where From? How Much? Or Has Anyone Got Any Ideas That They No Works... |

have you considered getting all the red stripes colour coded, would look really good with navy blue.

Paint them? I painted my EL Fairmont strips and they came up great!

I'm pretty sure AdzELXR had the same problem, and I think he painted his.

paint them navy blue, strips on the EL's look heaps better painted same colour as the body.

My drivers side ones were badly faded and I just went over them with some cut and polish and they came up beautifully. Can't underestimate a bit of elbow grease! I suggest u try the cut and polish before u go spending $$$ on new ones!

i re-sprayed mine, after a minor prep of course, did it on the car, theres enough gap behind them to fit a masking tape layer in , then just newspaper the most part of the side of the car and spray away.. i used Ford monza Red.

you could paint them silver mate.sounds strange heh. i seen a few heritage green ones painted silver and i think they look good,different
