im changin my 1990 ea spac from a 4sp auto to a 5sp manual,i changed the auto on an 88 ea wagon but that had the 3 sp auto,on my ea s pac i have noticed down on the drivers side floor next to where the clutch pedal is going to sit is a module.Is this the auto module and will it affect anything with it dissconected with the manual box in it?also the wiring on the manual has an 8 pin and 1 pin plug,the 4sp at has 2 8 pin plugs with no 1 pin plug,what is the 1 pin plug for?am i gong to have to splice one of the other wires to wire it in?

SHOULD only have one plug with 8 pins, im unsure what the 1 wire is about
