Question Au wagon advise

Hi.Just a quick question as i cant find any other threads related to this,so here We go. Can an NU FAIRLANE front be bolted on to a series1 AU WAGON. If it can is there any modifications to do other than bolt ons. I have been offered the front of an NU FAIRLANE X TAXI that has done 950000ks.... Hopefully someone may have done this and can help me out.

I have seen the Fairlane front end on a wagon before so it can be done but I'm not sure if it was a bolt on affair.

I too have seen an AU Fairlane front clip on a wagon so I'm going to say yes as long as you change the radiator support panel as well. I'm not sure if the support panel is bolted on or welded though. I do know that on an E series they are welded on but don't know about AU.

I know on e-series, Falcon and Fairlane also used the same radiator support so not sure if the AU is the same.

Yeap... Straight swap over...

The only issue you will have, is with the antenna... Fairlanes have them in the rear passengers qtr panel near the fuel flap...
