Ahh once again Ford have failed to deliver customer satisfaction. Well at least you know there's one here for you ready for delivery.
If you need someone to inspect the car for anything, I'm sure us Sydney guys wouldn't mind going into the dealer to have a quick look at the car for you.

Congrats Matty, glad to hear it's all worked out. Just be sure to go and give it a good throttle in the hills when it arrives!

BTW is there a Melbourne LW focus owner meet?

Maybe one can be organised where we could all meet up and share our experiences?
I'd be up for a LW melbourne meet. Are there many melbournians on here?

I will say this though, not all Ford dealers are bad, it's just some of the people they employ...
The salesman in Sydney has been great, has always answered my questions straight away, and was prepared to help by sending me images of the car, seeing as though I couldn't actually see and test drive it.

Hopefully it will be booked for pickup Tuesday morning and if it all goes to plan (it usually never does though....lol) Friday may be the day..

Are the dealers open this Friday? Good Friday.

Just re-read the post. Next Friday.

Nope....
only got picked up yesterday morning in Sydney. I'm assuming that it should be at Bayford in Coburg by now (fingers crossed...)
They will clean it and tidy it up after the trip down and register it, so hopefully Tuesday/Wednesday we can pick it up.
I have those days off work too so will make it much easier, otherwise it'll have to wait until the following week...

That's where I got my Focus from. Craig Power in fleet looked after me. He was very helpful. I had no dramas with him at all. Just a few initial hiccups but mostly with the car/brochure.
Bayford pre delivery is in Campbellfield:

City Ford rang me this morning to tell me that the car is still sitting in Toll's holding yard in Sydney....bugger.
It apparently won't be leaving the yard until Tuesday as they cancelled the weekend run for (insert some feeble excuse here).

may not get it until next weekend now, provided I can get some time off to get out there.

Would have it by now if I'd just flown up and driven it back....

Anyway,
thought I'd share these...

/saw them on the wharf here in Melb last night.

How frustrating. But good things come to those that wait I guess.

Nice car - have fun learning the features, pls let us know when you first let it park itself, I know I would be like beforehand for sure.

My first post as I await the delivery of my Sport Hatch. Bit of a saga as always - decided on the car , wanted White, there are cars available - oops sorry can't get them

Anyway Moondust Silver one on its way, hopefully within 2 weeks.
