EA cpi (center point injection) mpi (multi point injjection) CFI to MPI should cost that much, ull need ecu, loom, and the obvious ones... not sure how to trouble shoot tho but i would just go and buy an mpi ed ghia :P

Joelman, I am going to do the same thing myself very soon. A young guy at work and myself bought an EA S-pack for $200.00 and it has MPEFI. I have taken the MP inlet goodies, the Wiring Harness, ECU.

I was alos lucky to get the seats and the Springs, shocks and Suspension setup
Will let you know how I go. Would suggest that you see if you are able to buy a bomb like this and take the goodies off it. You will also need to change the Fuel Pump and the Relay

This conversion should not cost more than $200 if u do it yourself. Ive done it as cheap as $80 from getting the parts off ebay. You will need:
-MPI intake manifold, fuel rail and wiring harness.
-Upgraded fuel pump
-Throttle cable to suit
-few lengths of different rubber tubing
-Depending on transmission, u might need a new kickdown cable or duel gang TPS
-ECU

Other small bits'n'pieces may be needed

As above... but would be easier tho if u get either a 3 speed MPI ECU or a 5 speed one (hard to find) the 3 speed auto ecu's will work just fine! Karl... i got the costs down from $3 grand to $80. Hahaha (hmmm not so funny) Also, its best if u rewire the sensors to the old CFI engine loom. Dont go screwing around with connectors as there are differences between models. cut the connectors at the ends and wire in new lengths to the sensors on the MPI manifold. This way, all your ignition wires (coil, dizzy, etc) are left alone.
Cheers

that ECU will work TuMoR, I run a 3 speed ECU in my EA. It was converted to MPI and 5 speed, runs fine no idle issues or anything, even beats tired VN SS's lol :P
