Their not ultimate brake pads. That's way to cheap.

What’s this 2 for 1 deal you’re speaking off?

For what it’s worth, I’ve installed the Ultra premium pads (front) on the old mans AUIII ute (along with DBA standard rotors).
They have been fine thus far. No squeal, stops well and most importantly, no complaints from him!!!

NO NO NO NO NO NO NO
dont get them they suck! get QFM pads. their so much better. i had ultra premium pads and they warped my rotors and faded really fast and i didn't even push that hard thru the hills

talk to Race Brakes Sydney on here and get QFM pads. its worth it. please listen to me

RDA slotted.
I hear what your saying. And I don't really know what the other ones are like standard driving.

For $73 you'll get a good set of QFM pads. I always go the set that's one step above stock.

Like Day-mow, I use them with RDA slotted rotors and find them a great setup.

QFM HPX's FTW

I will be looking at going the next model up myself, but cannot fault QFM's. Great bite they have.

+1 to the above.

I too have the same setup, and I haven't had any issues with them.

But in saying that, the Bendix pads should be fine for normal non slotted rotors, not sure about slotted though...

i was thinking about getting these but not sure what they are like, I had QFM A1RM in my XR8 and they were awesome but a bit useless when cold and I have cheapo superstop pads in my commodore and they are great and no dust but i'm after a good pad in my old commodore as its only got single piston calipers so want the best pad i can get but on a budget too

QFM HPX pads were great on my AU. Yes it took 2 corners for them to heat up, but after that they were excellent and quite affordable. The A1RM pads were a high performance track pad version, and took longer to heat up.

Quote:
HPX is a heavy duty brake pad that is recommended for performance, passenger and trade vehicles. These vehicles can often generate high temperatures yet they still require a brake pad to handle normal, everyday conditions.

Excellent pedal feel combined with great stopping power hot or cold makes HPX the ideal brake pad for these vehicles. Other features of HPX that motorists enjoy are low dust, low disc rotor wear and quiet operation of the pads.

Temperature range 0-550 degrees celcius
On my Liberty I am running Stoptech brake pads. Good pedal feel from cold. No noise, average dust.

I did some research and it seems the Bendix Ultra Premium is just a rebadged General CT for Supercheap auto stores only
Ultra Premium refers to the ceramic content also found in GCT pads

im not a fan of the GCT's. Had them before, ok if you drive like a grandpa, not even remotely good for any slightly semi-fun driving. my 2c

as mentioned these are just rebadged GCTs and you can get these for $55 trade every day of the week, $75 is hardly a special. and the original special by the OP was 2 for 1

Id forget the GCT's. They are average at best. Stick with the QFM HPX pads. Much better bite for the same sort of coin.
