For 1.2billion dollars it's quite disappointing. The front of the car make me think of the Toyota Aurion. Need to see the car in the flesh to make my mind up completely but I hope they spent the money on making the car nice mechanically because it isn't that impressive.

I think all my thoughts have been covered already on here. Dont need to rehash.

Looks better, but Ford still get my vote on looks.

I agree with whoever said its shades of Mitsi 380 bum, I do not like it much– nothing innovative about it. Orange innner dash a bit cheap 'n nasty looking too. They don't seem to want to be sophisticated do they? (I know I'm a fuddy-duddy!) Give me a G220 any day.....

does anyone else think this will be the next commodore? -

I don't know if anyone else has noticed, but since the VT the holden badges on commodores have been getting bigger and bigger and more pronounced...pretty soon it will be just one F***-off big badge with some wheels slapped on the sides!!!

the VE looks like the child of an astra that was raped by a BA and grew up under high-tension power lines.

Good to see holden designers gave a single-finger salute to rear vision too....not like anyone wants to be able to see behind them when reversing.

They both look good but I'm really interested to see what the pov pack looks like inside and out. Probably nothing like what we're seeing at the moment.

IMO there is one option missing from the poll "its a FUGLY bitsa" and this is not just because ive never really liked any commonwhore but its just that i think it has no originality to it.

I was just about to comment on the badges but rollin beat me to it.

Since VT they've realy gone downhill as far as looks go, but I guess sales figures speak for themselves.

But no matter how ugly they get, they will still sell like hotcakes.
Only because, "Everybody always wants the latest model commodore".

Everybody has an opinion whenever a new car comes out. Remember when the VY came out and everyone on here was paying out the rear end/tail lights? Well I bet half of you don't reckon they look anywhere near as bad now as back then. You end up getting used to it and it grows on you. I've only seen a few pics of the VE and saw it briefly on the news and I think it looks pretty good.

I have seen quite a few driving around with the black tape all over them and they do have a tough looking shape. They actually look quite big too. I reckon the BF is gonna cop a beating when the VE comes out as the Holden bandwagon is much bigger than the Ford one.

I personally would never consider a commodore. Mainly because I am a Ford loyalist. I thought most people on this forum wouldnt consider a commodore.
I thought the reason for existance of this forum was for Ford loyalists. If you are highly open minded then wouldnt a general car forum be better than a Ford one?

AU **** end, BF front, throw in the middle of a vectra...at least they gave BMW their grille back.
Will Skaife and the other V8 supercar boys have to tub the front to fit bigger rubber? Or will they extend those pumped guards even further?

Looks similar to an Astra, with ripped off BA XT front lights.
Commo fans are saying now "BA XT lights are ****" wait untill they see them on the VE, and watch them say its not the same as the BA! simpltons

Yeh, looks bad, cant wait to laugh at a few when people actualy buy them... How much is Holden asking for this rip?

i think that they have taken BA headlights & taillights and tweaked the design of them and whacked a BA XR wing on the SS...
