Default doors

hey guys

i have a EB s1 fairmont, it has the 4 inch speakers in the front, now the windows are all stiff and i dont like the idea of the 4 inch speakers,

was just wondering if the doors off a EBs2 will match my paint as they have the 6 inch speakers and the windows might work better then mine

I wouldn't go as far as swapping whole doors just to have my windows working more smoothly & to get some bigger speakers.

There should be some threads floating around regarding removing doorskins & retrofitting 6" speakers to EA-EB1 doors. As for the windows... sticky guides?

EB's were still stark white werent they?
Dynamic white only came out for ED's?

I'll go out on a limb and say yes, you'd be able to find one.
check the colour code of your car, and find someone with an EB II in white and get them to check the colour code.

At least white should be an easier colour to match than a lot of other colours. Due to fading over time, it can be very hard to match bodypanels, even if they both came out of the factory in the same colour. That'd be my biggest worry, but as I said, white is a lot easier than other colours to match up.

there is a difference in the white colours... it will look like a pimple on a dogs bum if you have different doors.

the doors will fit no probs, just sus out the colour. your paint code will be on your compliance plate.

dynamic white is 'H'

not sure how you would fit the speakers with out the newer doors

you could try some silicon spray down the window seals. other wise you would have to pull your window reg out and regrease it

There's a big difference in dynamic white and stark white.

there is two bolts that hold the window onto the window regulator. these could be lose... or the reg itself could be lose.
