Default EL XR6 Air Induction

Hey guys

Just wanted to know if any of the B-series Air boxes and snorkels fit to my EL XR6, and if so would there be much differnance?

all of the ones the mount above the headlight will fit. take a bit of manovering but they fit. i had a XT and now have a XR6T one no modifications

Pretty sure fordfreak off fordmods has a BA air box in his car with a AU snorkle, hes on here, cant remember his user name

like $30 plus 5 postage from the sale yards. its a hell of alot bigger thats for sure. idle speed changed too so it does somethin

And yes.. i did fit the BA air box in... with a bit of a slight massage from a wooden mallet on the wheel arch just below the lower section of the air box...

Always wondered how you did it! did you notice any difference with it?

it certainly is a much larger airbox... and the neck of the box is 4 inches vs 3 inch for the old ef air box...
